Hole opener, also known as hole saw or hole saw, refers to a kind of special circular saw which processes circular holes in modern industry or engineering. It is easy to operate, convenient to carry, safe and widely used. When the hole opener (cutter) is installed on the common electric drill, it can conveniently cut the circular hole, square hole, triangle hole, straight line and curve on the plane, spherical surface and other arbitrary curved surfaces of various plates such as copper, iron, stainless steel and plexiglass.
According to different sizes of circles, the hole opener has different apertures and specifications. At the same time, according to the different depth of hole opening, it can be divided into two types: standard hole opener and deep load hole opener. It is installed on electric tools such as electric hand drill, impact drill and rocker drill.

Different materials are used to cut different materials, the most commonly used is bimetal hole opener, hard metal materials are recommended to use hard alloy, glass, carbon fiber, ceramics and other fragile materials are recommended to use diamond hole opener
