SG abrasive is developed by Saint Gobain company, which is specially sintered by special lead gelation system. It has a new generation of alumina abrasives. It has the advantages of high hardness, good toughness and sharpness. Compared with ordinary corundum abrasives, SG has the advantages of high abrasion ratio, high safety, good surface quality, less grinding wheel dressing and high grinding efficiency. SG grinding wheel is especially suitable for grinding of aerospace alloy, hardened steel, tool steel, hard chromium, hard cast iron, etc. Because of the high price of SG film material, SG can mix with white corundum (or other corundum abrasives) in a certain proportion to make grinding wheel according to the grinding requirements of different occasions, which has achieved a good combination of grinding effect and grinding wheel cost.

SG abrasive wheel is made of microcrystalline sintered corundum abrasive and special high-efficiency low-temperature ceramic bond. It has the characteristics of sharp grinding, low grinding temperature, less dressing times of grinding wheel and long service life of grinding wheel, and is used for inner hole and forming grinding of difficult to grind materials. For example, the inner hole of automobile parts, bearings and hydraulic parts; the crankshaft and camshaft of automobile engine and transmission device; the grinding of high-speed steel broach and milling cutter in worm, gear and tool industry.
